THERMAL PROTECTIVE AIDS
The Thermal Protective Aid is designed to protect survivors from hypothermia during prolonged exposure in life rafts and rescue boats.
The "TPA" will keep survivors warm, dry and protected against rain, wind and cold.
A Thermal protective aid is designed to keep survivors warm and protected against rain, wind and cold in liferafts and lifeboats. The aid keeps the survivor warm by preserving body heat. It has a long middle zip for easy donning and will accommodate a mother and small child.
Our Thermal protective aid is approved to UK MCA, MED Ship's Wheel and BV and meets all European Standards.
This TPA is vacuum packed in a sealed bag.
One of the most developed designs in the field of thermal protection, the Ocean Safety suit is constructed with Unique aluminised polythene suit designed with heat sealed seams for maximum protection.
- MED Ship's Wheel approved
- One size fits all
- Protection to -30 degrees C
The low thermal conductivity of aluminum reduces both the convective and evaporative heat loss from the user’s body and preserves stable temperature. Survivor’s protection from wind and cold is warranted, as it covers the fully clad body wearing even a lifejacket. Moreover, suit meets the ‘LSA Code’ requirements.
One size fits all.
