LEISURE LIFERAFT SERVICING

Your Liferaft is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment on your vessel. It is designed, manufactured and equipped to save your life in the event that you have to abandon ship. Annual Servicing will ensure that your liferaft will operate and perform as designed. You will also increase the life expectancy of your raft with annual inspections. Each year your liferaft is subject to a wide range of elements which will accelerate the natural ageing process of the rafts and its components.

We can service a complete range of manufacturer's leisure liferafts liferafts including Duarry, Highroad, ADEC Ningbo, Arimar, Lifeguard, Eurovinil, BFA, Plastimar, Lalizas, Avon, Ocean Safety, RFD, Raimar, Almar, Seago, Lalizas, Seasafe, Prosaver, EMS, Zodiac, Viking, Plastimo. We are also approved to service Arimar, Duarry, Almar, Ningbo, ADEC Charter, Yantai ISO9650 liferafts if the customer is coding or chartering.

The only way to determine if your liferaft is in optimum condition is to have it inspected annually or as per the manufacturer's recommendations. ADEC Marine are an approved and authorised service station for all different makes of Yachting Liferafts. Our UK MCA approved Liferaft Service Station is located in Barking, Essex.

We offer a collection and delivery service within the UK, charges are around £55.00 collection and £45.00 return delivery for UK Mainland. For all other destinations within the UK, please contact us on 020 8686 9717 for a collection/delivery cost quotation.

Alternatively you can bring your raft into us at our offices at 4 Masons Avenue Croydon, Surrey, CR0 9XS. Our Croydon office is open 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday or alternatively straight to our Service Station at Unit 46 Barking Industrial Park, Alfreds Way, Barking, Essex, IG11 0TJ. Prior notice would be appreciated at our Service Station by calling 020 8591 2552 as our engineers are sometimes out on the road. Our Service Station is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm.

Costs shown in the drop down list are for the Basic Survey Fee Only and do not allow for any repairs or replacement of lifed items (flares, first aid kits, repair kits etc..) or any additional tests which may be required, these would be charged as extra at the time of service.

We can quote a complete servicing cost to you prior to completing your service so you can decide whether to go ahead or not. Please advise if you require a quote first prior to service.

If you do not go ahead with the service after requesting a quote first, you will only be charged a half-survey fee for opening, report and inspection of the liferaft. This liferaft survey fee covers RORC, D, E, Charter SOLAS B and ISO liferafts. The basic survey fee includes the unpacking, inflation, testing and inspection and repacking of your liferaft.

We can also service Commercial marine Liferafts SOLAS and MED throw-over and davit-launched, ISAF, ISO and SOLAS B pack liferafts. We also service Inflatable Boats, Tenders and Dinghies.
